Day 3 to Day 5 and beyond

I am 32 and have unexplained infertility. Did 3 IUIs with clomid and insemination with no luck. All my tests have been normal. My husband is type 1 diabetic and has slightly lowered motility (38%, with 1-2 progression) but high count and normal morphology. We did a first IVF and had 10 eggs retrieved, eight mature, all of which fertilized doing half ICSI. 3 day embryos looked great. Day 5, only two early stage BC blasts (but no fragmentation issues or anything). Other embryos did not develop past cleavage. They were transferred and the IVF was unsuccessful We did a second cycle this month - just had my retrieval yesterday of eight eggs, all eight fertilized with ICSI. We are hoping to have better embryos at day 5 for a day 5 transfer. The only other thing I know is that my husband did the SCSA test between cycles and had 25% fragmentation (probably the type 1 diabetes), but there's not much we can do about this. Do you think that we have a good chance, like our doctors said, of getting a better embryo that can continue to develop day4/5/6 and beyond this time? My doctor does not seem to think that I would need donor eggs or sperm, but i get so depressed that my perfect looking day 3 day embryos were less than perfect at day 5. Unexplained infertility is really frustrating!

I am 45 became pregnant without any fertility treatments six times when I was in my thirties, but had miscarriages at 5 weeks. Had 5 IUI's without success. One IVF with two embryos at 43 without success. I just had my second IVF in which I had my 34 yr. old sister as a donor. She had 13 eggs, ER was 3, and ended up with 5-6 cell embryo. It was transfered on 6-15-11. I just wanted to know if there is any hope.
