Success Story: Won't Give Up
I've been with my husband since I was 15 . He was 17. That was 22 years ago. I was diagnosed with endometriosis at the age of 19. I wasn't educated on the disease at that age, I didn't know it would effect my fertility. Now at the age of 36 we decided to go through with IVF. Not to mention the 3 laporascopies, 3 cycles of Chlomid, months of taking my temperture, ovulation tests, pillows under myself with my legs pointing to the ceiling(literally) and 3 failed IUI's. Yes, for at least the last 15 years this was how it was. There were times we just accepted to be childless. We talked about adopting but never seriously looked into it. We know a few couples who with the same problem as us who concieved through IVF, so we said we would give it another chance. We decided not to give up. It may and can become very expensive, but, we will go as far as we have to, to get the baby or babies we've always longed for. We won't give up. We are about a week away from retrieval. I feel very positive about the whole thing. Anyone going through fertility difficulties please be possitive about it. DON'T GIVE UP!!!! Prayers out to all.
