Ladies,
I just found out that blue cross blue shield covers part of the fertility injections. I just found out that they cover 50%of my menopur, follistim and lupron meds, and many more...and better still, they'll reimburse me for part of the meds i paid out of pocket last year!
So far, instead of paying $230 for lupron, estrogen, progesterone, doryx, we are only $112. They are covering the rest.
If you have BCBS insurance, call them and ask. then file your claim!!! So far as it has not been more than a year since you bought the meds, they can reimburse you for some of the expenses!!!
Good luck!

we also have blue cross & blue shield. while they covered the cost of my femara and ovidrel....they are refusing to pay for the physician and ultrasounds.
With the medication already bought...we decided to try using it on our own...without doctor's help. The pamphlets they gave me let me know when to start the Femara but.......
HOW will i know when to take my shot??? a fertility nurse told me to use at home ovulation kits and inject when the lines first start showing up...but I am not sure if this is true HELP!!!!!!!
