Success Story: Awaiting...
My husband had a vasectomy about 9 years ago after he had his second child in his previous marriage. I believe 4 years after his vasectomy we married. Within a year of our marriage he went in for a vasectomy reversal. We later learned that the reversal was unsuccessful after waiting for so long. We then heard about IVF. Our best option was IVF. My first ivf cycle was unsucessful. I was emotionally and physically drained. We had frozen embryos left from the cycle. When I was getting ready to go in for the procedure, I was told not to go in but because the embryos did not survive the thaw. I was devastated once again & was ready to give up. My husband immediately decided to go through another vasectomy reversal. He no longer wanted to see me through the pain of IVF. We then attempted to get pregnant. It was just too long of a wait. My husband's vasectomy reversal outcome was good but not good enough to where he can get me pregnant without IVF because of low mobility. 1 1/2 years later I'm back on my second cycle (IVF). We had ICSI done as well. This Thursday I go in for a pregnancy test. Hoping to have good news, I pray to God that it is a positive outcome. I've been longing to become pregnant since I can remember. I am now 28, my husband is 37. I won't give up till I become pregnant. Lots of praying & keeping positive is my motto...My prayers go out to each and every one of you.
