Hey, Nix! As far as everything I've ever read (and I have read VOLUMES for over a year), nothing has HcG in it except for the following: -- an HcG trigger shot from your doctor -- the egg sac cells (the baby) -- the placenta cells
So, you won't have anything else giving you a false positive when you take an HPT (home preg test).
Now, that being said, 7 days is too early to detect anything at all. 12-13 days past conception (which is the day after retreival) is the soonest you could possibly detect any HcG in your system. Some say 11 days. I've never heard any sooner than that. Hold off 3 more days! :)
PS -- the 2WW is gruelling, and the midweek point is the low point, I think. Just like the middle of any long race or task. You look behind at something so long, then look ahead and think "I have to do that whole thing over again!!" :-\ Hang in there! Hopefully this is your last 2WW!
