Invertigo31--
I think infertility can REALLY put a lot of stress on a marriage. Fault, balme, guilt...all those negative emotions floating around out there just waiting to erupt...My husband and I are going through some hard times too. When he was told by our doctor that he has male factor infertility he became angry at me!! He ignores me now all the time and makes me feel bad if I even bring up having a baby. We both agreed to start doing IUI's and fertility drugs...I am the one who has to take the med's, I am the one who has to go and get blood work every week, and who has to get inseminated, and yet he acts like he is mad at me.???
Men can act very strange and do odd things that they normally wouldnt do when they are presented with difficulties such as infertility. Not that that is an excuse for their behavior. If you need to vent, cry or just talk, please know that we are all going through the same thing and you are not alone. Have you suggested counseling to your husband? Maybe you need a mediator to get your feelings out together?
Hope this helps!
