Semen sample won't liquify?

Hello,

My husband has gone for 2 s/a and each time the sample would not liquify and they could not do the test. My questions are: What could be causing this? Is there anything we can do about it at home? Why can't they do the test? Thank you

Are you using the same lab? My BF went in for his first semen sample and the same thing happened, which is rare by the way. The doctor office I used said his was the 3rd to come back from this same lab that way. My DR sent him to a different lab, a cryobank lab and his results were great the 2nd time. I don't know where you are from, but Quest Lab in Riverside, CA is no good.
