Early testing of embryo

I had 1st unsuccessful attempt at IVF in November 05. Out of 25 eggs, all of them had chromosome or other problems so no embryos were transferred back (I am 42 in a few weeks and had a miscarriage in Oct 03). I have now just discovered I am pregnant, naturally, but obviously know that the chances of it being a good embryo are minimal. Can you please let me know if there are any early testing methods to check the viability of the embryo?

I'm obviously checking with my clinic and GP but would appreciate your comments. Thank you.

I'm not a physician, so I may not be correct. I think the earliest method for determining the genetic normalacy of the developing fetus is through Chrorionic Villi Sampling (CVS) at about 11 weeks. Check with Dr Jacob on the Infertility 101 Message Board, 'cause I could be wrong. BTW, congratulations. It only takes one good egg and this may have been one. Hang in there.
