dh and I have been ttc for about 2 years now. I have tried clomid w/o IUI 3 times. I have had a laproscopy and I have some endometriosis but not around the tubes or enough to be harmful and I had an HSG and my tubes are clear.

I have now decided to try the clomid with the IUI to see if this helps. Today is my day 9 so I will start the lh predictor kits.

I am nervous to get excited and I am nervous about the process that I will miss something or not do it right or mis read the lh predictor kits (I wish they were easier to read).

Is anyone else going through this process this month?

It seems like when I read the postings most successes are through IVF. I know financially that will not be an option. I pray that there are many IUI successes as well.

Hi , I am new to this group and I feel better already reading all the comments here. I had a MC in 2006. It was due to chromosomal defect and my obgyn tells it happens to most women and it is not an indication to any future MC. After that we didnt TTC for a year. This May it became an year after TTC in 2008. We were referred to a Fertility clinic and so we got all blood test and semen analysys. Everything is normal, except my Thyroid TSH level is 3.7 (which by the way is normal to the doc) but the doc wants it to be below 2.5 since we are TTC. So she gave me the medicine which i have to take for 4 weeks (today it becomes a week after I started taking it). Meanwhile she also gave me clomid 100 mg to be taken from day 5 to day 9 of period. Today is my third day on clomid. I had this OPK from dollar store (I bought it just for use on days on which curiosity gets the best of me :) I hope you ladies know what I meant :). There are even Pregnancy kits available in dollar store , I am not sure if it i reliable, but at least it gives a bit of relief when you cant wait for the correct day to test. Today is my day 7 of period and I used the OPK 2 hours back (its 11 am now) and it didnt show any LH surge. My doc advised me to test starting day 12. I usually ovulate on 13 or 14, have to see if clomid made any difference in that. The doc will schedule the IUI the following day after I get a positive on the OPK. My Dh sperm count is good, its around 200 million. I hope it remains almost the same this time for IUI too :). The doc said there is only 8% chance of twins with clomid/IUI. We would love to have twins though :) , keeping fingers crossed. This is my first month in fertility treatment.
